SOUP Event Information Session – Southampton

Do you need £500 to get your idea off the ground? Join Southampton Place Partnership and Action Hampshire to learn how to put together the strongest application for a SOUP event and be in with the chance of winning it!

Are you passionate about getting local Southampton communities moving more? Come along to our SOUP Information Session and find out how you can pitch your way to £500 in funding to kick-start your project!

What is a SOUP event?

Inspired by the Detroit SOUP model, this is your chance to be part of a community-powered event where people will come together, share a meal, and vote on the idea they want to see come to life.

Why attend the information session?

At these free sessions, you will:

• Learn how SOUP works and what makes it so special
• Get top tips on crafting the perfect pitch
• Ask questions and get feedback on your early ideas

Who can attend the information session?

Anyone with an idea that can help get people active! Whether you want to start a walking group, a dancing class or circus skills, we want to hear from you!

When and where are the sessions?

There is no formal sign up process, just come along!

2. 30^th April, 14:00 – 15:00: Thornhill Baptist Church, Southampton SO18 5TR
3. 30^th April, 18:30 – 19:30: Mansel Park Pavilion (MP3), Millbrook, Southampton SO16 9RS
