Support to be Active

March 5 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free
Empowering movement into your workplace; supporting you and your colleagues to be happier and healthier by living an active lifestyle.

Around 1 in 3 men and half of women are not achieving recommended levels of activity for good health, with people with long term conditions twice as likely to be amongst the least active.

The ‘Year of Health and Wellbeing’ campaigns for organisations to support their staff to prioritise their health including being more physically active.

This workshop will help you understand:

  • Why physical activity is important for a workplace to thrive with happy, healthy and productive staff
  • How to integrate moving more into the working day
  • Top tips for supporting yourself and others to be more active

In addition to…

  • Providing resources and actions to put this training into practice and experience the benefits of an active workplace
  • Being inspired by examples of practice across Hampshire

Who’s this event for?

  • Anyone!

Whatever industry you are in, whoever you work with, this event is so everyone can play an active role in supporting the health, wellbeing, productivity and prosperity of Hampshire.
