This Girl Can Hampshire Network

We connect people who are passionate about supporting more women to be active.

This Girl Can has inspired millions of women to overcome their fear of judgement and get jiggling. But there’s still a way to go.

Great work is being done nationally and locally but resources are tight and time is in short supply. This network is a chance to learn from one another and join forces to encourage more women to be active.

We meet 3-4 times per year in central Hampshire locations. The events are free to attend and provide opportunities to network, learn and plan joint activities.

The events offer:

• Practical examples of what’s working/not working, nationally and locally
• Insight into motivations and barriers for women and girls
• A supportive space to tackle problems and think about how we can engage women and girls

In between events, we’re growing a This Girl Can Hampshire campaign. Through joint initiatives, we’re inspiring more local women to be active.

The network is open to anyone who is passionate about supporting women, including:

• Individuals who are responsible for marketing or engaging local communities in physical activity and sport
• Charities and support groups who work with women and girls
• Anyone who wants to join the This Girl Can movement
