Premier League Kicks Project Officer (AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust)

AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust have an exciting the opportunity to lead their Premier League Kicks project, through creating a network of social inclusion based programmes across the local area.

Remuneration: Circa £30,000 per year dependent on experience
Hours: 37 hours per week, including evening/weekend work
Purpose: To be responsible for the delivery of social inclusion and other related initiatives across range of settings, in line with relevant delivery plans to achieve impact and outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver local based social inclusion sessions (primarily football) within a range of settings
  • To take specific responsibility for growing work within participation/inclusion sector
  • Contribute to raising the profile and the perception of the Community Sports Trust in leading and developing local opportunities across football and for social good
  • Develop a network of opportunities for young people to gain diverse experiences, employment and qualifications

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of coaching within football (Level 1 Award in Coaching Football or Intro to Coaching)
  • A passion for the community and making a difference
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative
